Moonrise

Sunset gets all the fanfare. I prefer when the moon rises, colors cool down, the earth cools down, gently. Kisses on the forehead instead of blinding color. Silver gold glimmer instead of flash. It is time to relax and enjoy the quiet.

“Moonrise” is a 30x40” acrylic and pumice on canvas painting. Highly textured and very touchable.
