Some of my favorite memories have come from rehearsals with our daughters, dancing together in their dance studio's annual "Clara's Dream" show. This year was both joyous and marred by challenges. First, the fire curtain was dropped on stage, resulting in needing to reschedule the second show for two weeks later. Then, covid spread like wildfire and many had to decline performing in the second show. There were, understandably, many tears shed by the sweet children. But ultimately their shining spirits prevailed, and they were able to perform with golden, shining smiles. "Clara," is a 48"x48" acrylic on canvas painting featuring gold metallics, crisp whites, and deep blues.
